Great to see that there are so many people interested in joining Cebu rugby or at least want to learn the game. If you have had experience, wanting to learn or just curious about the game, please contact us. You can email me at ceburugby@yahoo.com if you wish.We have a game this Sunday, May 4 2008 in Camp Lapu-Lapu, Lahug. Kick off time should be 2pm. .

There will be a practice tonight(Every Thursday) in Abellana Stadium at 7pm if your interested. Try looking for a bunch of guys tossing a large odd shaped ball around and that should be us.

Some latest news of the Club. We just got back from the Manila 10's tournament(regarded the biggest social 10 a side tournament in asia) and are champs of the shield division. There are talks for the Pink Dragons to go on tour to Manila in the coming months, so ladies, come to practices. A US military team based in Zamboanga will be in Cebu later this month to play us, so please support us.

BTW: The lady who saw the South Africa vs. England game, consider that as your baptism to the greatest game in the world( I know others may disagree but thats my opinion ) and what a better way to start by watching the South Africans...Go the Springboks!!!!!Tanya: I will email you.

There are other names/terms of the game, we call it "touch rugby" here in Cebu since people may think it is flag football or soccer if we refer it to touch football.

We usually have a full contact game on the last Sunday of every month against the "LOW FLYING DRAGONS" aka the old expats living here who played in there younger years. Its a great way to be introduced into the contact game. We also have tournaments every 3 months or so in Manila or Clark, and teams from Manila or overseas come play here.

1st attend the practices to learn the basics, we won't let you play a full contact game unless you have learned the basics. Everyone will be given a chance to play...you have to learn to crawl before you SPRINT.
