anyway, ask lang ko inyo opinions... coz im planning to get a q6600 and overclock it.
these are the mobos i am looking at.

gigabyte ga p35-ds3r (mayo daw quality & oc performance pero mahal lang kaayo at 7.7k )
abit ip35-e (at 5.5k mejo ok ra ang price, but ok raba performance ani and quality?)
emaxx p35-pro (very cheap at 4.3k, solid caps and dual pci-e pajud. pero i dont know about quality and oc performance coz gamay lang jud iya reviews)

The Q9450 is out, i dont see why you would still consider the Q6600 even if theres a 4,500 price difference or higher.

if you ask me... i would have to say, go for Abit boards... very easy to overclock... go for the suggestion of Earlz... Q9450 instead of Q6600... kung kulang kwarta, then X3210 nalang... xeon... tag 9k ra...

pero mga masters, Q9450 has only an 8 multi & very sensitive to voltages (just like any other 45nm)...& the X3350 is identical to the Q9450, except that it's higher binned.

@whoopz: abit > gigabyte...abit has better quality & performance. i'm not much of giga boards coz manglibog ko sa iyang bios. emaxx is pinas-made.

for me, ok ra actually ang 8x nga multiplier... 450x8 is already a very good OC... for as long as its stable... unless if you're aiming for 4ghz... then a 9x multi would definitely come in handy... but still, 4ghz is nothing if you can't use it... unless if you're aiming for world records...

mao pud lagi ako nabasahan sa mga reviews anang q9xxx ky gagmay daw multipliers compared to q6600 nga 9 ang max multiplier. and diba mas sayun i-oc ang taas ug multipliers?

and im planning sa q6600 coz barato mangud.

gamay ra difference in price sa q6600 pero ang multiplier sa q9300 ky 7.5 ra, gamay rakaayo ni ma oc diba?
