Heres are the steps without re-install the OS.
Device Manager
IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
Primary IDE Channel
Secondary IDE Channel
Intel Bus Master IDE Controller <<< Double Click
Double click then goto Driver tab, Click Update Driver.
Choose: install from a list or specific location(Advanced), Click Next.
Choose: Don't search. I will choose the driver to install, Click Next.
Choose: Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller, Click Next. ( It will update the driver )
Completing the hardware update wizard, Click Finish.
System Settings Change, Click Yes. ( If you click No, it will back the original driver )
Shutdown your pc then replace your intel mobo to Via mobo.
After you replaced the VIA mobo the windows will continue update the drivers... and so on.
