    Taoist Words of Wisdom:

    Easy-Going, Cavalier Attitude
"When you ease up on yourself, when you stop pressuring and pushing, something almost magical happens. All of the sudden, it's like a fog clears, and, instead of losing your grip on the situation, all of the good things about the process and the goal reappear. Instead of endless doubting and questioning, there's clarity. Instead of tormenting thoughts, there's an eagerness to get back into action. Instead of feeling a burden, there's renewed enthusiasm."

    Taking Risks
"Purposefully exposing yourself to acceptable levels of fear, doubt and anxiety greatly diminishes their power and influence over you, freeing you to pursue your goals and desires while making you feel totally awake and alive."

seanray: have you read tao te ching? try reading it fully and see what insights you gain. i think i have a e-copy somewhere. usually, people find their own way into something and sometimes people need a couple of nudges in the right direction. i think nobody can show you the tao. find it. and live it. good luck.

Thus, even though the term Tao is used of Christ in the Chinese translation of John's Gospel, we should not infer that Taoism and Christianity are really about the same thing. They are not. Christianity proclaims a personal Creator who is morally outraged by man's sinfulness and will one day judge the world in righteousness (Rom. 1:18–2:6). Taoism proclaims an impersonal creative principle which makes no moral distinction between right and wrong and which judges no one.

Bro, as what i have read on the scripture on "Tao Te Ching" actually means that we can never understand the Taoism through the intellect alone. We must feel it. Talking about it can be useful but will never replace the actual experience of living it.
Taoism have recognize the relative nature of the world. Values have meaning only in comparison. For instance, a task can only be "easy" if we compare it to some other task that is more difficult. If there is nothing else to compare it with, the task cannot be rated in terms of difficult.
