i perfectly understand wat u are saying and u made ur point. i was just making a suggestion since life isnt so nice since the economy is going to the drain for now. economist here, refuses to make prdictions as when US can stand back on their own feet na sad. it sucks lang gyud!

if imo ko ask for personal opinion lang, i wud say in a way. for hospitals who have been hiring international nurses have done that na siguro. to think ga-freeze for now because they too are mindful of the hospitals expense and budgeting. i dont know if this goes to most hospitals in USA, na each department like ICU/ICCU, PCU, Onco, Cardiac Step-down, OR, ER, Ambulatory Sx, MedSurg, ONT, IMC,NICU units etc...has its own budget for the year given by the top mgt. if they are not earning pretty much, ky daghan health insurances na naglisod ug bayad sa patients' bills then its a chain reaction na. now this boils down to the status of the economy dont u think?

kadaghanan diha once nig-recruit sa taga-gawas, ky mo convert daun sa per hr. na rate. they dont even know kung unsa ang average rate sa kada State dri na ila-trabahuan. usually kita na internationally hired ky wa ka choice to demand ky magsugod pa man pod gud ka sa ila na standard. u will see ur rate kung locally hired na ka gyud.

yep, freeze ayu ang visa for the US. Im planning to take CANADA or NEw Zealand.. kay mas easier. Sa canada, i heard that you still have to take french classess. kay some some parts of cananda are french speaking..

since ur trying NZ, y not try australia as well. australia is much more larger than NZ and interms of nursing opportunities too. they have more or less same process.

ako mga brkada nag NZ cla.. sa Golden Summit Agency sila ni-apply.. IELTS ra ang needed nya dali ra kaayo process within 3 months pod larga na dayon cla then most of their expenses ila ra gi-loan sa agency.. mingaw daw didto pero nalingaw ra man pod cla kay dghan2x pod mga cebuano.

sa pagka tinuod lang...u dont really need to use an agency to apply. mas lesser pa imo expense. u can always communicate with the NZ council if u want to. take ur IELTS and look for an employer. but first things first, u need to be assessed by NZQA if u want to come in na permanent resident dayon. then ur registration with NZ council daun along with ur english proficiency tests.
