no offense, but it's a like a cheapass badass horror movie.
dvd-ish. not so sine ish

Ending messed up? well luk up at the DVD box coz that's wat dey r marketing.

I think there was an irony in the ending. it was reflective of the Biblical predictions of the religious fanatic in the grocery - that a sacrifice of the son be made for their salvation and it did happened...... (i hope it was coz the player garbled that ending scene - the price i pay for being too cheap)

Well, it was a fair movie - the story seemed too exaggerated on fanaticism (borne out of the fear of uncertainty & deathly consequences) and the lame acting really made some funny moments. it seems like a feeble attempt to combine Lord of the Flies with Lost or those shoot 'em up video games with less action.

But there were some S.King type of characters like the tough seniors wherein the senior lady shown how invulnerable she was using hair spray & lighter in the pharmacy scene.

Like any short story (i think stephen king intended it to be a SS but with too many added ideas it became a mini-novel), some parts r left unexplained like why pursuing opening windows to other dimensions.

Fair, interesting in some way but forgettable both in story (not too value adding since it seemed too exaggerated) and acting. still another B-movie for me.....
