DJ KIDD BIO:

Born and raised in Vancouver, DJ KIDD started changing the city's urban music scene in 1999. Feeling there was a need for something totally different, he practiced the Cali-style of mixing he grew up listening to on mixtapes. Honing his skills dj'ing house parties, high school dances & weddings, Kidd quickly became one of the top mobile dj's in the city.

He was soon introduced to the nightclub scene by local promoters, put into rotation and has been packing the clubs ever since.

Now, he has shared the stage & performed for the likes of Snoop Dogg, Ginuwine, Jin the MC, Chingy, DJ Kool, Pete Rock & CL Smooth just to name a few. In addition, he has rocked parties from the likes of Maxim Magazine, Smirnoff Vodka, Alize, The Telus International Ski & Snowboard Fest, Hot Import Nights, and many more. He also has been featured on TV shows like MTV Select & Pass The Mic.

His skills have also gained him opportunities to travel across Canada and the United States.
Now, he resides at some of Vancouver’s biggest and highly acclaimed nightspots, not to mention a monthly residency in Seattle.

As a DJ of experience coming into his prime, DJ KIDD is known for his smooth mixing, “shut the club down” remixes & party rocking emceeing style. He also, continues to keep his name in the streets with his cutting edge, hard hitting mixtapes which satisfies any soul that longs to be moved onto the dancefloor.

With his latest mixtape release(the 9th in his collection,) the Soy Clothing-sponsored “SO SICK” mixtape he is not only maintaining the game but stepping it up for those who remain to stay oblivious.
