From what I've read in the previous replies here in the forums, it seems that there were several people who were quite involved in reasons why people dislike jeepneys a lot. Perhaps, this post might be able to enlighten you so read well:
We all know for a fact that jeepneys are the Filipinos modern day system of transportation as jeepneys are mostly accessible from and through anywhere in most sites here in our country. I'd like to emphasize the fact that the government conceptualized the use of jeepneys here in the Philippines due to the following reasons:
1. Accessible areas
2. For people who don't have the sufficient monetary support and who could not afford to buy a private vehicle.
3. Mobility reasons
4. Public use
As for this, my dear fellows, we are all confined in a single place where these situations all apply, and whether or not all of the reasons totally apply to all of us present here in this country, it doesn't matter. I agree with the concept of manners. Eating manners, jeepney manners, and the like, are all ways of presenting your outward self to the public. To be able to establish peace and order, we are to abide by the laws of both the micro and macro. In this way, fights against disgust would be further prevented.
It is not right to say "If you don't like the way it goes, then you might as well leave it and choose another option, such as a taxi" as there are reasons why people tend to stay in the same path, even if they don't like to. It is alright to propose suggestions for better improvement and I believe that this is also one of the reasons why this thread was initiated.
Please understand that in this world, there are many things that we like and many that we don't. Sometimes, we don't have the luxury of choosing where we want to be and what we want to have. And I believe that there are many of us here who are experiencing the same thing so why don't we try to negotiate and come up with a public and universal resolution?
I hope my points were not misinterpreted. This post was not meant to offend nor to praise anyone. Just an insight![]()
Two words:
Public
Transportation
Ergo, if you can't stand other people, buy your own vehicle.

i don't have anything against people who eat inside the jeepneys. BUT, i just hate it when they throw their left overs/food label/fruit peelings anywhere outside the jeepney when in fact, there is a trash can provided at the back of the driver.
Naa ko one time nakasakay nga nagkaon ug lanzones and sa kada lanzones nga iya kan-on kay derecho jud sya labay sa panit sa gawas sa jeep...iya pa jud gitudlu-an ang iya anak nga kuyog nga sa gawas ilabay. OMG... talk about discipline and setting example to children!!! Naa man unta sya putos nga dala...ngano dili man isulod ug balik sa putos ang panit then ilabay ang putos later didto sa basurahan sa jeep? Ganahan na jud unta ko mobadlong but edad-edaran na baya sya then maikog pud ko kay naa atubangan sa iya anak
Discipline is necessary.Originally Posted by duchess

Public transportation. So that means people should not feel as if they're at home and should be considerate to others. Two words:
