Many are afraid of religious leaders running the country, rather than afraid of having a corrupt president. They are quick to associate Bro. Eddie with the extremists religious leaders, but failed to notice that there are countries who progressed because the leaders are God-fearing men. Ironic isn't it? We always say that is the filipinos who needs to change their attitudes. We'll, we've seen a little bit of attitudes changed during the campaign. Directors, artists, businessmen offered their services for free to campaign for Bro. Eddie. The sound system used during his campaign in Cebu was offered free of rent by the owner. Tsk tsk tsk. That could have been an opportunity for us to have a God-fearing leader, in this supposedly Christian country.

There is always next time. Till next election, I hope another God-fearing person will come forward to volunteer himself to lead the country.

I have nothing against Bro. Eddie, thing is he is not competent enough and is not winnable. It does not only take a good, god-fearing man to run a country. Moreover, since he is not catholic I don't think the catholic church will give their support to him.Â* Be that as it may, that is one fact to seriously consider. that is politics, even churches of different religions/denominations have their fair share. ...and in case we forget, they too are human with preferences and differences.

Bro. Eddie's campaign manager is a leader of the couple's for christ. Fr. Robert Reyes supported Bro. Eddie. The Sultan of Sulu did support Bro. Eddie.

God-fearing is just one of the qualities we need. I've stated the pros of having him as the next president. I've read his platform and it is feasible. We have enough good men to run this country. We've seen the crowd gather at his rallies in luneta and in other places. I agree that he was not winnable at that time. But, according to a column of Teddy Benigno, give him another six months of campaigning.

Now, we get the president we deserved.

ang main problem ng philippine government system is corruption. it has been. and i believe it will take countless years and leadership to solve this problem. the bottom line is sino ang pagkakatiwalaan natin? trust and confidence to a president are the main issue here. makasilip lang ng pagkakamali, hala edsa revolution na! make a move to oust whoever is sitting. everybody wants to be the president. what is in that presidency? of course everybody has the capability to be a leader. but nobody wants to be a follower. when in fact the foundation of being a good leader is being a good follower first.Â* Â*

philippines is a very nice country. until now, it is still rich in resources that will make its economy and population survive. if there is perception of exodus, i'll say its because of survival. it does not mean that these people left and will never care about the country they belong to. with the present economy status brought by the arduous political management, juan de la cruz prefers to find work abroad to finance the needs ofÂ* his mediocre family.

so who will be my president? let the present leader finish her term, and let us choose againÂ* from the candidates of the next election.

I am not a GMA supporter per se.Â* I am just practical.Â* You on the other hand is obviously an opposition kiss-ass.

You are getting personal because with you opposition people, it is REALLY PERSONAL for you. The question is WHY?Â* You don't really want me to answer that, do you now?

... and don't brand me again.Â* What a pathetic way to raise an arguement!
