Any idea what MOTHERBOARD brand/model that has Gigabit Ethernet LAN connection??

Bro, almost all recent high quality motherboards has built-in Gigabit Ethernet LAN already.

I chose this because it has durable components already, fit for server usage because servers usually runs 24/7 so you would need to have a durable and rugged system also. ASUS is also a good brand, I have noticed some branded servers like HP and DELL has ASUS MOBO's inside.

Use RAID5 for data security (not from hacking but from data loss when the HDD is damaged). I would suggest you use a HARDWARE RAID controller (PROMISE Technology is also a trusted brand) not like the SOFTWARE RAID controllers that sometimes comes built-in with MOBO's.
