    problems are many too mention.
poverty, employment, corruption, hunger and other basic social and economic problems
ineffective naman ang presidential form of government sa pinas.
lets resort to parliamentary. we need change kac.
i think this would lessen the problems or better yet, solve its entirety.

The oppositon and the administration officials should be the role model.. not shoving each others arce. For example, the senators should not be any partisan and works on what is it only for themselves.. obviosly, some of them wanted to bring up non sense issues to have a free ride on media exposure.

Everyone should work together to solve the real problems which camila mentioned that there are too many to mention.. but I would like to highlight 3 major problems - education, employment and peace & order.. then poverty and economic changes will follow.

Like what the new speaker is doing, he is askinf for pork barrel allocation transparency.. I think thats a good start so that everyone are obligated to show the expenses to the Filipino people and they should be accountable.. not just showing their arce that they are working.. accountability is important so that those who are currupt officials there's not other means to hide on where they are getting commissions on government projects etc.

    change our election laws.
    1. Only direct tax payers CAN cast their vote. And they must be paying their taxes for the past 3years. The BIR ID and the 3years ITR copy should be presented to the election officers and should match the master list.
    2. if you are a former congressman or senator... you cannot run for the president/vice-president positions.
    3. you cannot run for any elective post if you are 60yrs old or more than 60 yrs old. If your age reach 65yrs old during your term, you should retire. the same applies to "appointments"
    4. you can run for the presidential/vice-presidential position only if your previous position is a governor.
    5. you can run for the governatorial position only if your previous position is a mayor.
    6. you cannot run for mayor if you are not civil service eligible(pro).

I'm in favor of dividing the career paths for executive and legislative branches. Pero I don't think a Governor superseeds a mayor in function.

    How about...

    1. Require all Congressmen and Senators be outstanding law graduates (top 10% of bar).
    2. You cannot run for the senate unless you have served in the lower house.
    3. For executive branch, you must have served as city councillor, baranggay captain or vice mayor to be eligible for Mayor
    4. No two family members can run as public officials.
    5. councilors and baranggay officials must have accomplished several years of civil service before being qualified to run...

In other words... more stringent requirements for public officials... and differentiation of executive and legislative branches.

I hope a TRANSITIONAL REVOLUTIONARY GOVERNMENT should be set up composed of broad sectors of society like the farmers, fishermen, workers, urban poor, professionals, academics and economist who have only one thing in mind - - - the welfare of the country and the upholding the high standards of morality in public service.
Sometimes we blame government too much without looking at how we are part of the problem and hopefullay and eventually, the solution. First things first, do not corrupt public officials. Their being corrupt stays so long as we reinforce it

I so agree, problema sad sa tawo usahay naanad na sa conveniences of corrupting our public officials and proof nga nakagamot na jud ang culture of corruption hatagan lang ka rason nga madugay man gud ko if dili nako bayran. aint violations of the law(it could be as trivial as a simple traffic violation) carry a consequence?

Filipinos should look and vote for morally sound leaders and servants and not politicians. Almost everybody in position are TRAPOs and service takes the backseat. Everybody is busy with their own personal goals and agenda even at the expense of the people.

Too much politics will do no good. Take note about what politics really means and where did such word came from:

Poly (many) + Ticks (parasites) = Politics (many parasites)
