wow! a dedicated thread on farming...share pud ko sa akong thoughts diri...
@silent-kill
ipa-study ang soil quality sa imong yuta kung appropriate ba taniman ng fruit-bearing trees or for rice paddies having mentioned na rubber trees ang nakatanum sa una. i just remember this from one discussions on land preparation with my dad sa una.
for fruit-bearing trees: i suggest niyog para pwede nimo i-copra. not sure pila na ang copra ron... the prices playing in my head are still of 2 or 3 years ago. pwede pud mangga or banana. perhaps, coffee trees din. but do keep in mind about crop rotation para pirmi healthy imong soil.
kalinaw already provided much of the details about rice...
@kalinaw, la pa ka plans to engage in pre-production soon?![]()
though deli kaajo daku ug puhonan to invest in pre-production ang problema nimo ani ang imong mga customers. Kay sagad man gud sa mga farmers karon nakatali nasa dagkung rice traders which also engage in informal lending to finance the farmers, pre-production equipments, harvesting equipments & rice trading. In short looy kaajo ang mga farmers kay ila ng gi huktan sa liog. Mao nga in short term wala koy plano ana though its part of the equation for a long term biz. Ako gyud gi punterya karon maki pag mingle sa mga farmers, sa ani lang tingali kung paagiha maka palit sa ilaha ug tipasi not there entire harvest pod bisan portion lang sa ilang harvest to start.Originally Posted by annais

Elf or Canter para sa transport then sugod ug palit ug juta para kabutangan ug bodega, sun drying bed, mechanical drying & rice mill. Weeeeeeeeeeew watta plan or it is a dream. Ajaw nalang ko pukawa para padajunon naku ang ang akong maajong damgo![]()
@kalinaw naa kai farm?, or ikaw tig palit sa products sa farmers?..
wala intawon koy farm kay dinagku naman kaajo na, i'm into rice trading just started last harvest season.

manga kusug ta sa export infact kulang atong supply..vegetables ok pud as long as organic walay gamit chemicals..sikat ni karon..
