Having an LCD complete removes the need for that.

dual core processor
alot of memory
alot of HDD space
stable motherboard
simple Video card (or you can make do with good on-board video - amd690)
optical drive(s)
casing
power supply
speakers or headset
mouse, keyboard
Crt/Lcd monitor
floppy drive and flash drive reader (optional)
Stable Operating System

basically, that's a list of what you need..

you have the freedom to choose any specifications you want...try to check with the computer packages that you canvassed...and post 'em here, we'll then judge what's good and what's bad..
