For your temp issue, you need to use Real Temp ( found in extreme systems ) and follow its calibration method, or just use coretemp and select it to display the delta to TjMax, keeping 25~30c away from TjMax should keep your processor healthy.
Your next issue is a cold boot issue, that is a known factory defect in one of the transistors on the board, people have proven that by running a hairdryer near the socket of the CPU and they can eliminate the cold boot issue, basically its a transistor that switch even at normal room temps, the only thing you can do about it is RMA.
