I haven't looked into that yet but AFAIK it's not impeachable & by admitting that she indeed talked to a COMELEC official therefore she did not deny or lie about it so "betrayal of public trust" cannot be applied here.

LEGALLY, the opposition does not have a case against her and they cannot impeach her because they don't have the numbers. Their option? EDSA 3 (because Mendiola scandal is not counted.] that's if it will succeed.

basing on the tapes, we really don't know. as they said, the conversation of the "undoctored" tapes are inconclusive.

A lot of ambitious and self-motivated politicians are talking about snap elections as if it is the best thing that can happen to this country. . . imagine the cost of having one and the economic turmoil it will bring upon us . . . gutom samot ang pobre.

Please remember that during Erap's time, the plan to improve the collection of taxes in the BIR and the customs was stopped dead in its tracks. The computer software and hardware of the BIR was literally trashed. Today, the BIR is making it hard for companies to cheat on their taxes and the Customs office is linked online to the BIR.

. . . so even before saying "Gloria resign" etc., it would be good to pause for a moment and ask ourselves what solution would be best for the Filipino people?
