Naay idea? I actually consulted that very definition before I posted my views, ergo, my thoughts on religion are based on that same exact passage. As you can see it uses the word "commune". A commune is an organization in society. What is an institution? It is a group within society that has a formal set of rules/philosphies and objectives. Ergo, religion is in fact an institution. If it were not so, then wala unta'y separation of church and state. The state recognizes groups of people like families and religions to be institutions, like the state or a school itself is.

So mangutana ko, why do you claim nga "para dyud naa kay idea"? Are you trying to make me look as if I need to be taught? If so, ngano man?

Rodsky, that is why I told you to search first the etymology of the word RELIGION kay pwerteng lapara na aning word nga religion.

We need to know kon unsa gyud ang pasabot ani nga word before pa namugna ang mga encyclopedia or ang pinulongan nga English. Kay dili kalikayan usahay dili kaayo ma capture ang usa ka pulong if ma translate na kini sa lain nga pinulongan..

Ang word nga religion – originally came from the latin word “ligare” means to connect ug gipun-an kini ug prefix nga “re” means again..

So the word religion is “to reconnect” or “to connect again” to God.

Why?

Because we are separated in God. That is why we need to reconnect to him and to reconcile to him.

Dili man kaha pinugsanay, pero ngano man lagi when you post things like "Lisod ba sabton?" kay you are using that to make me appear as if "superior" or "tama" or "sakto" ang imong gipang post kontra sa akong gipangpost--you want to use that so that you can convince others of your views, by trying to show that my views are plain wrong and that everything you post must be the correct and righteous one because it comes from God.

But it's ok, because I believe that people with common sense can see through this method of convincing/converting. Katong mga tawo nga wala'y capacity to think for themselves lang ang dali ra kaayo maconvince sa mga words that people like you preach. The question I post to the iStoryan readers now is--are you that type of person?
