yeah, forum rules reminder lang...

Ok ra na madaghan ang tourists oi. Makatabang mana sila sa Cebu. Although naa jud na mga pasaway but that's life. We should be more welcoming like what other Asian nations are doing.
Ako no comment na lang ko.Lisod na basin ma muted na sad.hehe
me and my buddy had an experienced one time... in the resort im workin'... a korean asked for a towel... its a resort's policy that no towel will be out of the resort premise unless otherwise it will be added in their room charges...and treat it as sold items( it happens mostly on their island hopping).
during their scheduled island trip: in the lobby my buddy then inspect and found out that theres indeed a towel...we have a standard phraseology in dealing with in this situation... " we let them knw of our policy regarding that matter".. the guest was so upset that he shouted / scolded my buddy and threw the towel away!....pwede raman unta i surrender lang nganong gilabay pa jud ug layo oi... heehehe anyway mao jud ni faet...still my buddy is composing himself and mura lang walay nahitabo... and to think ha, daghan jud guest ato nga time...
i pity and sympathize my fellow crew... mura jud ug trapo intawn...anyway thankful sab ko hinoon nga we have lots of guests...that means... lots of service charge... it boils down to money gyud dayon... toink!
bahala na kapila ma paksit kaysa wala juy lung-agon sa abuhan... ani nalang jud ni atong role..
The resort owners recounted to Libanan a number of disturbing instances involving the Russian woman. They recalled how Lezhnina slapped a man without provocation; spat and uttered defamatory words in front of police officers; pushed a Korean woman off the dance floor; spat on the faces of club bouncers; acted violently inside a police station cell; and took off her underwear and showed her private parts while flashing a dirty finger sign at the law enforcers.Originally Posted by omad

The Good – Income
I never encountered any rude guests here. I am even amused at all of them. In nice way.
We can't generalize their race just because we met 100 200 300 of them..
Or maybe it depends on the person’s outlook or personality. I have this outlook (from a novel) Nobody can make me feel inferior without my consent. That's why I've no bad stuff to say about our tourists here nor do I feel that I am being looked down at. Unless, it's a personal / physical attack. Kana!
And yes, I never witnessed nor experience, Americans, British, and Australians, cutting lines. Koreanas nuon! But I laugh it off.. Lahi rajud cla..
In fact, I pity the tourists - and the obvious balikbayans because SOME locals take advantage. Everything is more expensive for them. I mean, can't they just be a guest for once? Like pay the same price we locals pay.. I know. Impossible! But think about it, Filipinos in their country is being treated and billed the same. If you say Filipinos are discriminated there, ha! We too, discriminate tourists here. =)
naay uban murag iro nga nkabuhi sa hiniktan ig abot dre Cebu...hehe...unsay resulta usahay? disgrasya...

CEBU CITY, Philippines -- Authorities have banned diving down a popular falls in Badian town following the death of a Korean national on Good Friday.
Ryu Ho-jun, a 25-year-old Korean student who weighed 90 kilograms, dived down the Kawasan Falls in Badian, destroying the bamboo raft ridden by Korean students Lim Sang Guen, 24, Jeon Chang Seon, 22, and Chon Jeung A, 23,.
Kawasan Falls, over 100 kilometers south of this city, is a popular destination in southern Cebu for locals and foreigners, especially during summer.
Lim died a few minutes after he was brought to the Reinhard Wertgen Memorial Hospital in nearby town Alegria while his two classmates were transferred to the Chong Hua hospital in Cebu City.
Ryu, who was also injured, was brought to Cebu Doctors Hospital in Cebu City.
