You must have downloaded the Windows installer. Although AVG lists Linux 386 as one of the platforms they support, i couldn't find a download link for the Linux installer. Ang mga installer sa Windows dili modagan sa Linux unless you run it through Wine-a compatibility layer for Windows apps running on Linux.

Like previous replies to your posts, dili na kinahanglan ug antivirus ang Linux(at least sa pagka-karon). Built-in na iyang protection. Kun gusto jud ka, i-install ang clamav or F-Prot.

Tried ubuntu 7.10 for school and self educational purpose, i didnt "enjoy" my time with linux and practically learned only the things what i needed to pass the subject.

you need to create an init script ... just google it out .. its not that complicated
I did my own init script to mount and unmout my ntfs partition whenever i turn on my box
by just following those found on the web!

ask lang ko if unsaon man ang pag install sa beryl sa ubuntu 7.10? dili pa man gud kaayo familiar sa linux na OS gud...ganahan unta ko makat-on..
