As I said bai, I have no problem and agree with your views, pero I dont appreciate how others confront me as if sure na gyud makaikyas, etc. as if theyve seen how I take care of my pets.. with all do respect im just in the center of this i dont take side, they maybe right and you maybe right, the import thing is we just be responsible for our action, not speaking generally but honestly bro with regards to DENR i really hate what i have seen.... i been to any kind of animals for years, before someone in the road sale this exotic bird and seem to be already week at first im kinda angry and no plans buying but come to think it since i have the time and can feed him and knowledge about it, rather than goinh this in the wrong hand (im not saying im self rigtheous) bougth it instead put him in good health emailed DENR about it severals times but no reply... i just dont get it and dont like waht i see in thier place... years pass bougth a lot in the province and have seen some birds flying same with what i have bought ( it migth be a native there then) i release it and fly free.. but mine is a defferent story... some of these people a just concern about environment

Same here... It doesn't mean we are here to stop you from buying these forgs... They look kinda cute in fact... It's just a word of advice regarding responsibility. I see you have lots of experience with these kinds of animals so go ahead. As I said, hopefully it'll be a male, just to be sure. In my first post here, I didn't say anything about you not buying the frog. It's just some concern for some of us because frogs are kind of adaptable unlike lizards and tortoises. If you intend to breed it (think it over a hundred times), do not carelessly give them away or sell them only to those who you think are responsible and capable enough okay.

Regarding DENR, Silver and I share the same disgust over the way they handle things. Mind you, I am so much of an animal lover. I apologize for the way I posted but I have seen the treatment they give to animals they confiscated and the way they are just not doing their obligations and responsibilities and it just got me fired up, I am not the type of person who would just ignore things. Indeed I have called of DENR a lot of times and they always come up with pathetic excuses. I just don't like seeing wild animals waste their lives on small confinements suffering from depression and self-mutilation. I just don't trust them. Period.

Regarding those who sent you PM's, I condemn them. It is cowardly and pathetic. Better say it to you in a matter with respect. I don't like those kind of crap. These ends here. I'm happy for you that you got your pacman frogs. Do take care of them and never ever get tired of them. If you do, for Godssakes do not hand them to DENR. Goodluck bai...

bai edge, i think what bai ajol is trying to point out is "IN CASE" SOME exotic pets are accidentaly or intentionally (for whatever reason) let loose, it MIGHT do to our ecology what the brown tree snake did to Guam's ecology or to Australia or in any other part of the world where ALIEN SPECIES WERE INTRODUCED TO THE ENVIRONMENT for whatever reason. There is a point to the statement made by someone here that local animals should stay in their environment. This is not to say that having exotic pets are bad, but people who do have them should be more responsible. don't you agree?

If you guys really care about it, do something about it, go to DENR, complain mo sa Pipers petshop, Hell, even sa tarantula forum area diri sa Istorya, etc. Rather than just be self-righteous sa forums ra kutob. lol.
