Don't you people get it DENR is whole F***ED UP!!! If they are so vigilant about animal trade then why the hell do I see coral fishes, sea hawks, LEOPARD CATS, SEA TURTLES BEING SOLD AND BUTCHERED!!!

I walked by Manalili earlier this year and a man tried to sell me this EXTREMELY ENDANGERED Leopard Cat kitten. He placed it inside a damn birdcage and covered it with cloth! God help me I could have choked him to death if my girlfriend have not pleaded me not to make a scene!

You brought up the point about DENR allowing it, well they have PEANUTS FOR BRAINS!

No wonder why janitor fishes got out of hand in some lakes in Luzon and why Dengue is still not controlled, and why I COULD STILL SEE MYNAS, IGUANAS, PYTHONS, LEOPARD CATS BEING SOLD IN THE STREETS! They wouldn't know endangered or ecological disaster potential if it hits them right smack on their faces!

The fact that IT WOULD EAT ANYTHING IT CAN FIT IN IT'S MOUTH scares me... Frogs and toads are very adaptable creatures. Imagine your pet hamster, guinea pig, love birds, parakeets, and priced fighting cock chick being devoured by frogs. Just look at how Cane Toads overrun Australia. They have voracious appetites and breed extremely well under suitable environment... One mistake lang jud bai... At least we know who to look for if feral pacman frogs overrun our country (God forbid).

Well if this happens, we could just eat them... Filipinos are known to eat anything from rats to dogs to sea turtles to dolphins to whale sharks....

I second the motion... Pls Check RA82** series, thats the environmental law here in the Phils. Not everything that has "papers" or "clearance" is legal or illegal, after all, its just a paper. But the law is a law, and no one is above it. Not even "friends", "relatives", nor anyone you know who works in a gov't office is immune from it.

I guess inverts are ok, but i strongly disagree to people who push or peddle "exotic" herp or amphi trade, be they legal or not.
