the default color theme was a bit confusing when reading posts. good thing the new forums has lots of features and better client-side controls.. i just changed the color scheme to yaBB and the problem was solved. each post has an alternating color scheme just like the former phpbb scheme...interface needs more time getting used to though.

edit: changed to SMF default theme coz the YaBB theme was too simplistic although the color scheme is very good. SMF default will do fine for now. Nice color schemes too
