hmm,, i think ilonggo.. sweet paminawun ang ilonggo mo sulti.. but if ang girls isog..

i am an ilongga and i personally believe "hiligaynon" is a beautiful language because it is rich and melodic.
malumanay at malambing daw kami magsalita maybe because we speak as if we have all the time in the world.

i didn't notice the sing-song tone that others have been saying not after i was exposed to other non-ilonggo speakers, especially cebuanos and bisaya speakers. i was really surprised because they talk really really fast i didn't understand one word of it.

ilonggos can curse you and you will think it is the sweetest word or phrase you ever heard. hahaha. one acquaintance told me malambing pa rin ako kahit galit.

yes, i heard two of my waray dormmates talk but they don't use it that much. they know how to speak cebuano so they prefer using it since there are many cebuano speakers in our school. we even named our acquaintance party after a waray word meaning getting to know each other. hehe. nakalimot nako unsa to.

^hello alden! may i-singit lang ko ah.. it is a language, not a dialect. technically, ilonggos are the people residing in iloilo. the language is called hiligaynon. :mrgreen:

it'd level up as to with the french..
prolly the most romantic local dialects in the philippines.
imagine, some words are unfathomable with its meaning.
