Hahahaha.
I pity the opposition they WILL ALWAYS be bitter as long as GMA is Malacanang. Know why? Because it is really not for our country but for their own personal interest. In short, nawalan sila ng racket. Mga kaluluoy!
Does the opposition really want to curb corruption or just wants to go back in power? With what they are doing right now we all know the obvious answer.
For you it might be a joke because you are not looking at the bigger picture.Originally Posted by tempest

Because if you have a business then people are banking on you and you are banking on the economy. If you have "seen" the bigger picture then you would definitely not say that.

(2nd UPDATE) SOME 5,000 to 7,000 anti-government protesters gathered at the boundary of Manila and Quezon City on Friday to demand the ouster of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo for alleged poll fraud.
Police officers around the Mabuhay Rotonda Circle gave the crowd estimate, but rally organizers claimed that 15,000 took part in the rally.
Some 1,000 anti-riot police and a six-by-six truck prevented the demonstrators from marching to the Liwasang Bonifacio plaza, according to footage of the protest on GMA Network's "Flash Report."
On the other side of the Rotonda, some 1,000 pro-government rallyists staged their own picket, the same footage showed.
Renato Reyes, a militant leader, said they decided to cancel the march to Manila. Instead the protesters set up their program aboard a truck parked near the Rotonda.

were among those who were seen at the rally.
Groups like the Kilusang Mayo Uno, Migrante, Gabriela, Concerned Artists of the Philippines, Txt Power, United Opposition, and Bayan also participated on the first day of a two-day protest action.
Earlier on Friday, the protesters held a prayer service in front of the Santo Domingo Church in Quezon City.
Police warned that they would strictly enforce the “no permit, no rally” policy and arrest provocateurs.
Police nationwide and military forces in the capital have been placed on "red alert" for the protests, spawned by allegations that Arroyo cheated in the May 2004 election.
Compact discs containing the alleged wiretapped conversations between Arroyo and former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner Virgilio Garcillano were distributed.
The recording were aired from a giant speaker at the back of a pick-up truck.[/flash]

isnt it ironic? the very people who practice lawlessness are preaching lawfulness.
unfortunately, you and i both know that the presumption of innocence only applies in the court of law, and not in the court of public opinion where the president, oops, i mean gloria arroyo is currently on trial.
what i find absolutely appalling is that "president" arroyo seems to think that shes exempt from the rules of the game, most of which was created by herself. its like the tricks that she has used to oust president estrada shouldnt be used on her. they now call it a demolition job when in fact, four years ago they were calling it an act of patriotism.

PRESIDENT Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo asserted anew she would hold on to power despite mounting calls for her resignation, adding that the character assassination thrown her way by political foes “humbled” her.
"I feel humbled because they are assassinating my character as they have assassinated Ninoy,” said Arroyo at a Malacañang ceremony for the Benigno Aquino, Jr. Awards for Nationalism Friday. “And this humbles me, and it should humble us all.”
Aquino, popularly known as “Ninoy” was shot dead at a Manila tarmac upon his return to the Philippines in August 1983 to help unite the opposition against the Marcos dictatorship.
"Ninoy paid with his own life,” said Arroyo. “But such a sacrifice has a rejuvenating effect on any nation. His death awakened people from the fear and lethargy imposed by the dictatorship," she added.* Nilapastangan ka na, humbled ka pa
* Ang KAPAL talaga nang mukha mo.* Hindi ka marunong mahiya!

while your mob thinks she is guilty, there is another mob that think otherwise. *on that note, you are wrong. *still, presumption of innocence applies to both courts. *the keyword being "opinion".Originally Posted by tempest
