As for bass, have you ever been to a rehearsal place and found that the bass amp on site sounds horrible? Well, I found a cool little pedal for fattening up your bass sound in such situations. It's the Behringer Bass BDI 21 (bass amp modeler - driver). It's a powerful little preamp pedal (with direct out) that gives you huge control over your bass tone. This pedal can turn a flat, no-bottom bass combo into a really good sounding rig. I was so impressed that I bought a 2nd one to keep as a spare. Definitely worth checking out...
