Can anyone tell me:
1. How to get to Apo Island from Cebu (please include details: approximate travel time, fare)
2. Where to stay in Apo Island (contact numbers if possible)
From what I've researched there's Liberty Community Lodge and Apo Island Beach Resort. Are there other options aside from these two?
3. Diving rates in Apo Island
Would really appreciate any info you can share. Planning on going there this April.
Thanks!
its easy to get there but very expensive, where are you from?

hes right, from bato santander you can take the fast craft, its faster and only 50 pesos. dungo mo sibulan and you take a 10 min drive to dumaguete, ingna driver adto ka sa terminal para zamboangita, 20 pesos ang plete padung didto last 2006, not sure if it took an hour i think it was less. the expensive part starts there, their pump boat rentals are very expensive and you can't haggle coz its run by a coop. when i was ther nov of 2006, it was only 1.5k for a banka good for 5-6 pax, now they say its more expensive. once you are in the island, every move you make is equivalent to some cash, the people there are very nice and the place is amazing especially for an underwater enthusiast and a nature lover. wish they could regulate and lower down all the fees.
Thanks. Unsa oras mugikan ang first bus to Bato? And sa South Bus terminal ba? Ang 1500 na banka one way pa lang na? Yikes.Originally Posted by djsparechange

from cebu to santader ceres kay 150 man ang aircon, i suggest gikan mo sayo as early as 5 cguro para nana mo didto before lunch. ang kanang 1500 kay round trip nana cya. ingun to ako fwen na 2.5k na daw ron, di ko sure, sakto si m1k3_ng, walay kuryente didto but if you stay in the resort naa man cla generator. murag naay 2 ka resorts didto, medyo mahal pud, i know a house where you can rent a room for 4-500 pesos, sample lang sa rates kay once you step on the island = 100/head, if you go snorkeling sa sanctuary = 75/head, if you pitch a tent = 50/head, if you dive murag 300 man cguro to, di ko sure samot ka mahal kung mag shoot kag video. thats just a very short list, you see more once you dock in the island. if you have the money to spend, i suggest you go, kumbate kaayo didto
