Advise lang from a fellow Linux n00b: I started using Ubuntu Linux about 4 months ago, nya wala na jud ko nibalik sa Windows! It's great for people who are starting out with Linux. what program will I use if I want to auto detect my monitor, let's say I installed linux in a crt monitor then later upgrade to lcd, in fedora there is a generic lcd driver but in other distribution I wasn't able to find one, how do you do this in other linux distribution? what program can auto detect monitor then automatically write to X window config?

Bro, unsa nga distro imong gigamit? Ubuntu user ko. Tua ra man ni siya sa System>Administration>Screens and Graphics. Pero usually ma-autodetect man niya ang imong monitor.
