some people swear by south beach diet. for the first two weeks, you don't eat carbs only fat and protein. fats from nuts, fish (fish oils), avucados, etc. for protein whole eggs, lean meat/chicken, low fat cheese, etc.
i'm still reading the book my sis gave me. when i'm done, i'll try to incorporate some of stuffs there in my own diet... but i'm no good at cooking and pretty content eating bland or less fussy prepared food...
