Manila Universities are Overhyped!

I have nothing against Manila schools. I just like to encourage those students and graduates from Philippine provincial universities that we “promdis” are clearly at par if not better.

AMEN TO THIS!

most of the manila schools are too COMMERCIALIZED.. to think the competition is not on the scholastic part but on the commercial aspect already. (eg. who has the higher tuiton fee, et al)

kudos to schools who are achieving more of what you expected them to achieve

nganong ang mga tao sige mag htag ug importansya sa mga skol? wa ba mo kabalo nga 2ngod rana ninyo, 2ngod sa inyong hago/sakripisyo/pawis maong successful mo. wel, factor sd na tuod ang skol pero dakog % ang inyong hago.
this is base on my xpirens, ive got 2 degrees, 1 taken here n d ader in manila, base on my xpirens walay kalahian wit respect 2 skols, kasagaran lng jd studs dd2 kay puro "laki sa layaw" maong dghan buang ug dghan hagbong. kta mga promdi we value education alot... and we shud b proud of that...

Schools matter a lot! With the cooperative part of the student, both get the recognition and the positive result!

Schools are like coaches of a sports team, like a mother or father instilling discipline to their children.

Even if you're enrolled in the best school and if you'll not study hard you won't get anywhere but fail...

at least it would look good in your resume/curriculum vitae....hahaha

They're not overhyped, they're just the more popular ones and it's because they're all located at the nation's capital. If USC is in Manila, it will have same attention as UPD, DLSU, ADMU, and other bigger Manila and Luzon based universities.
