Im only talking about performance and even with 2c difference the TRUE is still the better performing cooler regardless of the price, You cannot compare them by prices alone because they are not on the same market level.

Wrong, The updated version of the Ultra 120 is the Ultra 120 Extreme. please stop posting/spreading misinformation.
The IFX is a totally new cooler from thermalright with a different target market.

    why not...

everything is about price.... if you can save.. then you will have more money for other components like the power supply

this is what I call a small company outdoing a bigger company.... and with a better price...

Thats technology thought yours is the best but turns out something is better than Ultra 120.

Oh, its an updated version of Ultra 120 extreme rather. with the IFX 14 You can install 2 120mm fans, .
The Ultra 120 is even faced out today.

Something is better than the Ultra 120, its called Ultra 120 Extreme.

No its not an updated version, The TRUE can also mount 2 fans, the IFX 14 is only able to beat the TRUE by using 3 VERY high CFM fans. the Ultra 120 is FAR from faced out today.

No, not everything is about price for everyone. some people settle for the higher price and better performing product.
If you want to consider price & performance, then Intels stock cooler ALWAYS wins, because it is free and nothing can beat the value.

Incase you didnt read the review or notice the charts like ive said earlier, the extreme was beaten by the ultra in their results that is something VERY hard to believe.
But I do believe xigma CAN beat the aged old Ultra ( w/c what you were referring to ) but it cant compete with the Ultra Extreme ( w/c is what im referring to )

If we move to non retail source for a review you will see a different picture, if you wish to base your purchase decision on a single non source then by my guest.

Heres a review from a forum user from Extreme Systems, and his review is spot on!

A 3c difference maybe small to some, but if they did show an overclocked Q6600 B3 at 3.6~3.8Ghz i wont be surprised if the difference increases 10~15c

    the chart says OCpulse.com

Price is important.... since money can be use for other components.......and I am not referring to stock so don't give PHILOSOPHICAL answers...

Yes the chart says OCpulse.com , or did i say it didnt ?
Spawne32 is also a member of XS before he made that on OCpulse, i dont see the problem there.

Yes price is important, all lower priced products always win in comparison to its higher priced counter parts, hence the Intel stock cooler is far better in terms of value since it does the job in cooling your processor at stock and mild overclocking speeds, If we are to talk about performance the closest to compete with TRUE is the Tuniq and IFX-14, Im giving you facts.

The extreme is placed at 4th and the ultra at 2nd mean anything to you ?

a review from X-bit shows the TRUE performance is better

Since you had to mention about "other" components then then i would refer you to Vapor's post on XS about heatsink comparison in regards to overall system cost
The entire thead can be found HERE
    but the significant parts is post # 27 , 40 and 50

I cant understand whats upsetting you thought, as i already acknowledge the Ximga beating the Ultra ( not extreme )
