if ur laptop dont get dc at other router, and ur desktop does not get dc... might be ur router's wireless...

try checking ur wireless power management...

and also when downloading..

open 2 command prompt.. 1 should be: ping google.com -t
the other should be: ping 192.168.0.1 -t

just to check if u get dc to internet but not the router, or the router..

sa akong asus notebook wala my Linksys wireless network monitor nga software. ive read sa linksys furom mao daw na ang kailngan to connect to a non-broadcasted ssid. how about if wala tah sa ilang software?? anyone tried connecting to a non-broadcast ssid??

if u have enabled mac filtering and u configure ur laptop, then i think it should automatically connect...

bro pwede nimo sowayan og connect using lan cable nya e try og continuos ping ang ip sa router if dili ba mag rto nya try pud using sad thru sa ap then e compare kung asa to mag sige rto.....f mag rto gani sa duha then probably there's something wrong with ur router..

as of today ang network was not dc anymore after sa pag config nako sa kad2ng max client lease time and changed the ip from 192.168.1.1 to 0.1 thanks.

but still i have not find a way to connect to an unbroadcasted ssid to my router. mac filtering is enabled sa router but unsaon pag config sa laptop to connect to the router if its not seen?

first u must connect to the wireless ap when it is still broadcast... configure mac filtering... then save that wireless connection... so when it is unbroadcast u can connect automatically...

take note that when broadcasting is off doesnt mean it cant be seen...

bundled wireless application can view it and the windows vista wireless configuration can also see it.. although it will mark uname and unbroadcast...

what good bundled wireless applications can you suggest to manage wlan? i got network magic but limited 5days rmn ni oi but so far maau baya..
