PS3 actually is not perfect. I've seen alot of PS3 being repaired due to lens failure. But the big difference between PS3 and 360 is that currently there is no fool proof and effective way you can fix a 360 (here in cebu and even in manila) unlike the PS3 w/c can be easily fixed in about 30 mins by replacing the lens.Originally Posted by keboks_x
I'm waiting for the fix posted above. This might probably resurrect my 360. So, until then, I'm concentrating on PS3 and PC games. ^_^

The folks @ pinoyxbox have all the info you needed. IMHO, If only majority of our kabayans will go "Legit" M$, Sony & others will surely recognize & will open a "Legit" Shop that can Fix these units w/ no Xtra Cost except for shipping though; & another reason for that these companies got Cooled feet is because the lack of disposable income of majority of our countrymen.Originally Posted by keboks_x

Infact when they held their Chirstmas 2007 Party in which M$ Philippines Senior Produt Manager "Mr. Ayson" attended; their were give aways that was given & of course other contributions of other members from abroad gave Tons of M$ Points, Game Software, Guitar Hero III bundle & I think a Rockband Bundle etc..etc. That is why modding or anything that is "Piracy" related Topics on pinoyxbox is no longer tolerated.
Its a long winding road but if we put all our collective Efforts together, I know this will happen in a not so distant future.
Philippines go Legt!!
edit: Pinoyxbox is now recognize by M$ Xbox Singapore...Kudos for Scytherage for this effort.
The Blu-ray Disc Association is welcoming Microsoft with open arms to the Blu-ray family. Speaking in an interview with TechRadar, Frank Simonis, spokesperson for the BDA, expressed his thoughts on inviting a former competitor into the organization:
Microsoft could easily put Blu-ray inside the Xbox. From my understanding Microsoft did an early evaluation and the Xbox has a similar processor to the PS3 so it will be perfectly capable of decoding a Blu-ray disc.
So technically it could do it. All Microsoft would have to do is acquire a BD license.
Will Microsoft go Blu? Now that Toshiba has officially abandoned its HD-DVD format, Microsoft’s plans are unclear at the moment. Yesterday the company issued a statement, noting that it would wait for word from Toshiba before announcing any specific plans regarding its Xbox 360 HD-DVD add-on peripheral.
Even though M$ & Sony are competitors in the conole business they still have a healthy relationship thru Sonys Vaio Home PC's & Notebooks. I dont see any reason of Sony blocking M$ in joining the Blu-Ray Wagon.
