Hikaru no Go is one of the greatest animes and mangas I have read and watched. It is indeed a very interesting to watch. Too bad the anime leaves off at the time Sai begins to disappear. The manga ends at the tournament after Sai has disappeared. Too bad, I was really enjoying it too.
On another note, the Go boards can become very expensive depending on the brand, type of wood, and also the stones that come with it. I've seen one being sold at $250. There are also cheap reproductions of the board that can be found. The game's been played for a very long time. It was even popular here in America during the 60's or 70's I believe. The game can become confusing considering that there are an infinite amount of moves you can actually think up and make. It's definitely a great game to play though. Makes you think on your feet. You can also find the boards being sold in ebay.
i play this game bak in japan last year
[quote="animelover"]I'm not exactly happy that Sai disappeared too, but in my opinion, thats the only way for Hikaru to be stronger (on his own). By what you said, you meant that Sai didnt disappear yet at the end of the anime?[quote]
