suggest pud nako adto lang ka sa cheaper amd x2 nga processor around 3k ang price and add 2gig ram.. ang motherboard ana naa ray mga tag 2.5k. that will be fast enough and it will be cheap and so as a result you have more room to spend for a more expensive videocard. didto ka mu kumbati sa videocard becoz ang videocard jud ang gadala ug hilas anang mga gaming pc, i suggest Palit gf8800gt 512mb ddr3 if you want to play the latest games.

so far my gaming rig is fine, di lang kaayo ka sugakod ug mga high end games like crysis, pamob-an pa ug settings... but so far it's been great...

Seriously, people shouldn't call rigs "gaming" unless they want to put up the money for gaming. IE: 1GB RAM is like calling a 3 legged dog a racing dog. People need to stop limping around with subpar rigs for the purpose of games. Buy an HDTV + Console if you want to game.

@ ajol, if you can get away with the dvd burner and add some cash i guess you can get a 9600GT ot 256 MB 8800GT video card.

A Decent midrange rigs cost about 40k.
Already has an AXP 5000+ black edition
Nvidia 8600gt, 2 gigs ddr2 800, 550w hec winpower, gigabyte 690g mobo, w/ 19" Samsung lcd(940bw).

an 8600GT is not a decent card for gaming, the lowest card you should settle is an 8800GT-512MB.
