The word "bible" is not found in the Bible either,
but we use it anyway. Likewise,
the words "omniscience," which means "all knowing,"
"omnipotence," which means "all powerful," and "omnipresence,"
which means "present everywhere," are not found in the Bible either.
But we use these words to describe the attributes of God.
So, to say that the Trinity isn't true because the word isn't in the Bible is an invalid argument.
* God is three persons
* Each person is divine
* There is only one God.
* Each of the three persons is completely divine in nature though each is not the totality of the Godhead.
* Each of the three persons is not the other two persons.
* Each of the three persons is related to the other two, but are distinct from them.
We can see that the Father is first,
the Son is second, and the
Holy Spirit is third. The Father is not begotten,
but the Son is (John 3:16).
For God so loved the world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth
in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father (John 5:26).
For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
The Father sent the Son (1 John 4:10).
Herein is love, not that we loved God,
but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
The Son and the Father send the Holy Spirit (John 14:26).
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things,
and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
(John 15:26)
But when the Comforter is come,
whom I will send unto you from the
Father, even the Spirit of truth,
which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
The Father creates (Isaiah 44:24),
Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer,
and he that formed thee from the womb,
I am the LORD that maketh all things;
that stretcheth forth the heavens alone;
that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
the Son redeems (Gal. 3:13),
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law,
being made a curse for us:
for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
and the Holy Spirit sanctifies (Rom. 15:16).
That I should be the minister of
Jesus Christ to the Gentiles,
ministering the gospel of God,
that the offering up of the
Gentiles might be acceptable,
being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
hope we enlighten us this passage.
God bless!.
