yeah, i think its better to wait na lang. thanks for the advice. I was thinking if maybe there's no real world difference between the two the Winchester might fill the bill. But looks like the difference will be worth the wait. I already located a reasonable motherboard for it with an nforce4 ultra chipset and now have to wait some more...hope price won't be too different from the current chip. Another vendor said the distributor for AMD in manila has Winchester cores available only. What a bummer.

a64 3000+ venice is available na in mla..."vennies" can handle 300htt on d fly!...and yes it supports SSE3...includes 13 new instructions developed for some specific tasks...actual programs that take advantage of the SSE3 today is not large...
