buzz...
i think its not the harddisk ang may guba...
kay kung harddisk ang may guba.. di na unta xa makareformat eh.. [ambot lng]
i think virus na xa...
dapat try ug reformat na walay kay isave nga files gikan sa imong old OS then completely delete all partitions.. para sure..
then reformat..
old hdd?
PSU problem?
IDE problem?
guess lang.
This is not a virus case, I suspect the HDD part has the problem. Just try to format using DOS, before the format remake an active partition by using the fdisk then do the format. It will gave a summary report after the format pray that no bad sector reported. If none proceed to check your IDE cord just try to replace it. If you have a HDD that was connected slave remove it used a single hdd setup. If the problem still persist better to consult to the tech specialist...

The Virus could not kill O.S 1day or 2days after infection. Except on thus strong Virus that penetrate direct to hardware. But as today Anti Virus and WinXP OS could stand strong Virus. Absolutely yes, you can still format those defective HDD (bad sector HDD). Some experience tech will ignore the important of using DOS during format and OS setup. Not to offend, by usual a shortcut method applied during OS installation while doing HDD repartition and format.
mao rani solution ana bro. try to replace another harddisk w/c is ok or brandnew. sa harddisk rana ang may deperencya. cguro may damage sector nana or kusog na kaayo mo init maong mo restart ang processor.
