8600gt or 2600xt for htpc & light gaming?

2600xt should be able to run most games todate but under low or medium settings lang ang high end games. if HTPC is priority, I would go for ATI. But if gaming is priority, I would get an 8800GT 320mb lang instead of the 8600gt

just read that 2600xt is hdcp capable while 8600gt is not..

really? I am surprised at that, but just confirms my recommendation, if HTPC is your priority, then ATI is the way to go, and if budget permits, get the HD3870 instead

ako intawn, ngmantinir ug XBOX, kato pa 1st version using XBMC. No HDMI kay d man capable tv nko.

been looking for some similar PC application that exactly works like the XBMC. I'm very surprised on the way it pools contents into one from multiple directories/sources.

Well so far the silvesrtone MFP51's and VLsys's Media center software allows you to do that also
