mao jud bai coz it's the only thing that music scene emerged widely in cebu & that's what we call it LOCAL VOCAL LOUD & PROUD.

hehehe... nalingaw ko ani na thread...

although there were several local band gigs happening sporadically in Cebu around the time, one of the indicators of how big new cebu music was going to be is the philcite concert nga pwerte puno-a... for one thing, we (the band) had to climb the gate to get in.. secondly in the middle of our set, na undang ang concert unya ang mga pulis nag paso2x sa stage nag bitbit ug mga armalite, third murag ang kanta namo adto na time was a Police song...

about local ground... i think there were about 6 bands that played in the first local ground... blind faith was an all blind act from bohol, then there was this band whos name i forgot but guitar player was our good friend and the deceased Jun "Malmsteen" (RIP), then kami, then Medusa Taciturn, then BTU then 40...

wa na ko sure kinsa pa tong mga naka apil sa Local Ground 2, pero lingaw pod to, puno guihapon..

sa mga local ground concert ra gyud ko kita mga babay mu kat2x gyud sa gate para maka sulod unya ang uban kahilakon kai di na gyud ka sulod...

kinsa may naka palit na sa Salonga SM aning compilation sa local ground apil ba ang sikatuna rappers? by the way ang Leon Kilat ang pinaka tatay sa cebu local music
pinaka unang bisrock ang nag compose sa song nga "Hoy agta" the band was formed 1979-1980...

walay apil armand & d sikatuna rappers sa album bai, yes leon kilat had dat composition saona but napa jud b4 nila. red lead band '75 tukar nila kay bruno but due to lack of financial support wa jud ma-air sa radio and wa la pud kau radio stations musupport. sayang lang. during the time sa local ground daghan na kau musupport esp the first radio station Y101 and salonga music center and las pinas recording.
