AERO theme is the first thing that pops into mind basta diffs between Basic and Premium Vistas. transparent/glass ang window frame/borders sa Premium.
To compare editions of vista, check the link below

i recommend running vista with a 2gb ram or more.
Can't wait for the official release of SP1 for Vista.I've read it'll be released on October or November.
Vista is nice if you got a Core2Duo system with 1Gb or more RAM
I turned Aero on and I don't even have an external video card (im still using the built-in card of the Intel G31 mobo) but there was very little difference of graphic delay when i run 2 instances of WoW (both windowed) with y!m 9 beta on and firefox opened with several tabs of ajax-heavy sites. i use NOD32 2.7x on the side. as compared to my system's performance when i had Win XP.
for me overall, Vista is just a visual eye candy. obviously it's more memory hogging than XP but it's not that bad.
recently i have come across articles that says you lose mental focus when multi-tasking like there's no tomorrow, so with Vista's memory hog, not-opening several more apps at once is a welcome change (hehehe)
2 years from now, u dont have a choice but go vista.
