vlc uses another software. while KLM codec kai u just need windows media player. why installl many players? media player can do this for you.

I think Media Player is bug-at na kaayo na program.

I actually install three different programs for playback, mostly.
(Storm Codec, VLC & Power DVD). The video files mostly are: *.avi, *.mkv, *.rmvb, *.mp4, *.mov, some DVDs....

IIRC, some people tend to shy way from Windows Media Player, because it eats up alot of resources compared to the alternatives.

However, as always, BadDudes put it rather nicely with this statement: "It all depends on the preference of the user ..."

The one your talking about I think is the Nero Player bundled when you install the NERO Software. It's good if you have it, but for me, as long as you can play your movies with your current player, I'm okey with it. what's important is you have the CODEC or different video formats.

Hmmmm ... im not sure with this ... Im using KMCP and it plays almost all extensions in full mode ... and on my linux box much contented with Mplayer or maybe im wrong then

yup puede kaayo ma-full screen sa K-Lite Media, pero sa Quicktime dili puede kun dili pro ang version sa imo Quicktime Player. MP4 and Quicktime are both trademark sa Apple Computer, inc.
