it only has one card slot which can read m2 or microSD...

its similar as those builtin card readers on most new laptops...it reads SD or MS on one same slot...

M2 is sony propritary...
microSD is basically used universally(s.e.,nokia,moto,samsung,even china phones use this)...
it also comes with sd adaptor meaning you can use this card in any SD device like cameras from most makers use SD...

now i think you have been reading enough of my post and asked me enough questions to know how much i DONT prefer sony or sony ericsson (and apple for that matter) in most cases...this is no exception...i prefer better flexibility and wider compatibility...

hands down by far i'd get the microSD... microSD works with virtually all brands of phones(s.e.,nokia,moto,samsung,sharp,etc.)...m2 works with just 1(s.e.)...microSD is cheaper...microSD comes with SD adaptor for free which means you can use it with and SD devices like camera from virtually all manufactures of cameras and pdas and other gadgets (canon, nikon, casion, benq, etc)...naa man gani microSD to DUO adaptor na ron which allows microSD users to use it with DUO devices like psp and digicams na sony...i dont think there is a M2 to SD converter

but then again no matter what i say you still prefer s.e. right? so whatever you prefer...

i carry different brands...depends lang whats available when you purchase...same prices...
