sometimes romantic and most of the times boring, in my profession i have to learn to identify constellations and and there primary stars. whenever i'm in the middle of the ocean, when i look at the stars i think of numbers and the computations that i have to do, but when i'm lying in the beach at nighttime or in the mountains then its totally different story (especially when you have someone beside you).

What do you do, sir? If you don't mind[br]Posted on: February 05, 2008, 08:08:38 PM_________________________________________________Yes flying is nice. I can fly in the second life.

Watching the stars sometimes make you more aware of your alone-ness -- not that you're lonely... it's just better to have a pair of warms arms around you in a cold night while watching the stars...
"JUST A WOMAN? Oh honey no!

I am awesome with a splash of bitch and a dash of wonderful.

Yes. second life can make you fly indeed.

The stars make life very surreal. When you look at it, you are draw to a different place and you go places.

The stars sometimes make me wonder.

Looking up on a clear night sky, the stars don’t look the same. Are bright or large stars proud? Are dim or small stars apologetic? Are stars in the middle indifferent or do they take sides?

Do they have intrigues? I wonder if big or bright stars impose themselves. On the other hand, I wonder if there are stars who refuse to shine, simply because others stars happen to be larger or shine brighter than these do. Do those in favor of imposers want to share power? Do those in favor of complainers also complain why the larger stars don’t get smaller or the brighter stars don’t get dimmer?

Is it not that all are essentially equal despite apparent differences? Each one has a role to play in the greater scheme of things. Neither smallness nor dimness is a measure of inferiority, and in the same way, neither largeness nor brightness is a measure of superiority, but this illusion can exist in the minds of those in the bad habit of comparing themselves with others, a practice that can lead to depression, or worse, lead to prejudice against those perceived to be different. Where then is the root of this kind of suffering? Is inequality in existence an injustice? Or is it an important ingredient so we all have the opportunity to share?

It may be silly to believe the stars practice false discrimination and the like, but it happens on this small planet. Maybe that’s why some of us look up to the night sky for some light in an otherwise dark world - for some hope.
