IMHO, you don't need to join an organization to make yourself feel that you're "wasting" your free time--on the contrary, if you're joining an org just to give "meaning" to the free time you have, ask yourself again, are you really doing it for yourself, or just to let other people see nga wala ka nag-waste sa imong time?
There are lots of rewarding and fulfilling things to do out there on your own, believe me.
