By that logic, everything can be considered relative. My nomenclature assumed that there's at least a smidgen of agreement as to what can be considered basic, intermediate or advanced in music videos. Or is the world of video production that fragmented? I apologize then for the naivete' since I work in the audio world where people can generally agree on the quality of a given piece of work, the general theory of relativity notwithstanding.

yes, it is somewhat defragmented as you would put it.

however, i am very confident that we can agree on being able to create intermediate video productions.

Video and film production, IMHO has no grammar whatsoever. It doesn't matter what level it is considered.

Only if your work results does it have it's own grammar.

Nomenclature is not grammar. It is terminology. I'm pretty sure, despite my limited experience, that videography has at least a rudimentary set of agreed upon terms.

Just be willing to Teach, Learn and Grow with the group as a filmmaker. No freeloading. Slackers will be terminated. Nope I don't speak for anyone. But this is how I was told one is to join unless the rules have changed.
