been to alegre beach resort (pero mga 2004 pa) great rooms. can't remember the food. maybe worth going to again.

word of caution. i don't know who owns it now. the first time we went, we had no trouble using the island (over-night camping). the second time, there was an armed guard who initially did not want our huge group (around100 pax) to land. we had to pull some strings--despite the fact that a banca with tourists landed around the same time as us and used the island. i think they paid 100 per head or something.

best if you try to find out what the rules are first before going there.

mam, mo recommend ko a boat trip around 30-45 mins from mactan.
its an island in between cebu and bohol. Pandanon island, check lang
sa google and see for your self
