Also, we're human, shempre dili gyud ta kabalo tanan. Try googling them, you can't see lots of entries about embedded application of .net.

Also, last year I installled Microsoft Robotics Studio. IIRC, they're supported by lots of popular robotic kits such as iRobot, Lego. mobileRobots, and etc.

I think this is a personal attack.
But I will only answer to your point on topic.

Micro$osft may have its own definition for embedded systems.

I tried searching for C# in http://www.embedded.com . But found no link for C#.

Embedded systems are mostly programmed in assembly or C. They are small computers and not capable of running "interpreters". They are found on your watches, microwave ovens and cellphones.

Some microcontrollers even have only 512 words ROM and 64 bytes RAM. Program and run .NET apps on that.

XNA is the replacement for Managed Direct X, it can run on your windows and on the XBox360 using C#.

Sure MySQL is always available to webhosts. Do you think companies like Citibank or AIG will go to cheap webhosts and use MySQL? LOL.

Let's have a common sense even for just 2 minutes. Webhosts and Oracle do no go along because webhosts are intended for small budget customers. Oracle is premium and it's expensive. Gets nimo?

Sun acquires MySQL for 1 Billion, old news, bahaw sa binisaya. The same day Oracle acquired BEA for 8+ Billion.

Who's telling you that embedded is only limited 64kbs roms/rams? Who's telling that it should be listed in embedded.net? I told you search in Google. I tried these keyword '.net embedded' and on the first item I have this link: http://www.windowsfordevices.com/news/NS4666205829.html does this it categorize as embedded to you.

I just point your original post that you are arrogantly commented that you dont use these tools (Java and .Net) because they are bloatware.
And you dont respect to the people who are doing for a living with these languages. Mura'g pinamukhang tanga nimo ang mga Java or .Net programmers because they are choosing these tools. If you do embedded, that's fine, these tools are not for you but embeddeds are not the only apps in this world.

you may ask why most big companies using C++ for games?. its because they have more C++ developers and they have a bigger code base in C++ rather than in c#.

btw: matod pa nila guild wars is also using C#.

Naa naman na sa Java by using Java OpenGL(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java_OpenGL). Ang naka-nindot ana niya kay mo run gihapon siya on any O.S. compared sa C#. Naa gihapon ang pagka-multiplatform.

I think dili man siguro maayo imong i-sacrifice ang requirements specs. I think mao na ang nahitabo sa Neverwinter Nights 2. Na grabe kaayo imong minimum requirements.

I think dili man na siya C# based kay if you look sa Cedega Wiki, wala man nag-kinahanglan ug .NET runtime. Succesfully man siya mo run sa Linux OS.

It's not sacrificing requirement specs, it's utilizing the productivity that the tool can produce to you. Many games nowadays are into console.
Console is fixed, there's no such thing as different graphics card, lesser CPU, or different RAM. It's fixed, and the programmers problem is to work into that target hardware. Shempre, Software companies should consider the cost of programmers, they dont want to spend a lot on debugging. So for them, not so fast game but it works and playable okey na and they will deploy on time and on budget.

Also, gamers are willing to upgrade if you really want to play games that needs big hardware. For example, if you're into buying hardware, first you will consider if it is either gaming machine or just a smart typewriter.

Also, who needs portable games? If you have Linux machine or mac, then most probably you dont want to play games.
