    Default Film making anyone?

Extra camera? Wow. I had this thing in school where we had to make an AVP. Since we had to interview people, I was particular about the ambient sound and the environment's noise (people walking, etc).

What we did was use a laptop + an altec lansing microphone connected for audio recording. We recorded using Adobe Auditon as WAV then transferred it to the desktop video editing for synching.

The result was pretty good. It saved us a lot of time reducing noise digitally. I'll post a very short clip soon.

    Hellweek,

With the setup you mentioned, I must say you did a very decent job in sound design for a school project. This audio coupled with interesting video footage and some motion graphics would definitely work.

Thanks for sharing. I would try your setup soon to check it's potential.

If you have other technical stuff to discuss kindly use the Technical Side of Filmmaking thread as we might risk going off topic here.

    Again, thanks.

    Best regards...

I don't intend to start arguments but I encourage honest and educated criticism for it helps us excel.

Back here at our place, I don't have anybody to relate to so I always compare my works to foreign films. There technical standards have always been the basis when evaluating of my work even if I don't have the luxury of their equipment and technology.

After every test, I always end up frustrated as I realize I have so much to learn. The more I know, the more things I know I do not know. This has been the cycle of my journey. I know you guys can help me by sharing what you know.

There has been lots of discussion on techy things and techniques before so I hope the posters will become active again. Unless, they were just pretending to know which would be unfortunate.

    Let's keep the knowledge flowing.

    Best regards...
