Programmers: Why mostly boys?

Mura dili lang programmers hasta mga computer game addicts, kasagaran laki sad, ngano kaha? Unsa kaha nasa atong utok nga ganahan man ta mo program ug dula ug PC games?

i think its more on biases rather than difference in brain and intelligence. Kay i know of kick-ass female programmers and so-so male programmers. sa akong office before, i am always mistaken as a secretary or encoder kay nag atubang ug pc, while akong mga ka ofismates nga laki (nag atubang ghapon ug pc) tawgon tawgon ug sir. but these guy ofismates come to me for help troubleshooting their PCs.

during college, most people will ask why i chose comp sci kay pang laki daw nga course. check the classifieds also, you'll find several job ads that state "preferably male".

But karon nagkagamay na ang biases that IT, specifically software dev, is a men's world kay I'm seeing more and more women in this field.

sa games sad, sus samot biased. i play DOTA a lot with guy friends and they'll give you a really hard time before they learn to trust you with their "lives"

anti female mani nga thread. I think mas smart ang women mo code and mas maka kita sila sa problem when troubleshooting, ang guy, ganahan mag usab from scratch. its just the way were wired...

I have seen , I have been with female IT graduates... they prefer task that are easy, so they go for image editing and other stuff...

programming seems difficult for them, I ask lot of females and they say they prefer this and that , so they went to call center and etc...

ok ra na sis hehehe well this topic wla man gaingon na girls are not capable of things na amo gibuhat, I think it's just the reality question that bothers a lot y kasagaran sa mga programmers are boys. Mas malipay gani ming mga boys na managhan pud mo mga girls in IT na field specially sa software development para atleast naa mi inspiration sa kada debugation hehehe so naa mi attention and focusation sa pagdevelop ug software kay ang lalaki dli mabuhi kung wlay babae and vice versa so the more female programmers the better mao na lonely kaayo mi dri kay wla man mi female programmer gud. And actually we are still looking for programmers right now hopefully girls para dli mingaw amo kinabuhi hehehehe.

i love programming, kay it gives me the rush.
nya wala man sa gender ang pagkamaayo.

amo teacher na girl kay maayo kaayo muprogram.
mas ganahan sya mustart from scratch and stuff. analyst man siguro na sya before.

as u hav seen me in the avartar reading a letter, someone wrote me why mostly boys
are programmers. Well only i can reply is "Boys are made to change everything and produce
babies.. hehehe
