Vitog and Cruz are actually the second batch of recruits by USC. They earlier tapped Aussies Emel Rowe, PJ Estorque. Rowe, however, was eyed by Ateneo de Manila University and now trains under head coach Norman Black. Estorque will be arriving before the first semester starts

@fer15, the fact that Emel actually posted a message saying the papers(Local dailies) should get their facts straight means there was never any truth to the rumor. Check the last post on page 58, ain't that Emel? As i have said before, while it is true that Emel did attend some Ateneo and Air21 practices in Manila, it was for the purpose of wanting to just see how training goes there..Besides wla nay playing years mabilin sa Ateneo si Emel after he sits out his 2-year residency, this alone is something the sportswriters should have known.
