My mom is a doctor and I have a lot of doctor friends. I am, however, not a doctor. I wouldnt want to be one. The only reason that I can think of why their handwriting is less than legible is perhaps when they were in training to be doctors they must have had to take a lot of notes down very very fast. The cut throat business that is medical school, must have fashioned their handwriting to be really bad because they most probably needed to get a lot of things down when the professor is rambling about important stuff. Hence, the bad hand writing. Have you ever seen a doctor write a prescription for more than a few seconds? Get what I mean? fast and efficient but code like handwriting that only people in the medical field (who probably had to go through the same torture to learn their craft) can decipher. And for those who think its all about the money, i suggest you go through medical school and figure out if being a doctor is not a calling... especially if your patient dies on your watch. You do the math.
